Composer Turned producer

BOIA didn’t plan on becoming a producer. A trained musician in classical and jazz piano, voice, and many elements of percussion including jazz drum set, he thrived in many musical settings from solo to orchestral performance, a cappella, and even theater (both in the band and on stage). Still, in college he studied Neuroscience and Music composition, arranging, composing, writing, and producing all the while, but planning on medical school.

Everything changed when he decided to spend his gap year pursuing music instead of research. In mid-2018 BOIA moved to Los Angeles and began to produce for artists other than himself.

Since then, BOIA has continually met and worked with many up-and-coming artists, helping them to define their style while standing out. BOIA’s strikingly original production is hard to define - it’s always accessible, always interesting, and never generic.
